Job Description: Compound, dispense prescribed medications for nursing homes/retail customers. Counsel patients on the selection of medications & surgical supplies. Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interaction. Work on Medicare billing. Check prescriptions for accurate billing and handle audit requests from the insurance company using computerized database. Manage inventory of controlled substances and ensure proper use. Work on call & weekends to assist nursing homes to fill prescriptions.

Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science plus 6 months experience in job offered. Must have pharmacist license issued by State of Pennsylvania.

• Perform financial projections and analyze revenue variances from budgets.
• Review balance sheets/cash flow reports & prepare financial statements using QuickBooks, Quickbase, PrimeRx, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.
• Compile financial information to support audit conclusions & make recommendations with respect to financial conditions.

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration plus 6 months experience as Financial Analyst, Analyst, or Accountant. Prior work experience must include 6 months of experience using QuickBooks, Quickbase, PrimeRx, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.
